Mykonos is not only a cosmopolitan place. You can discover the alternative side of the island. Places where the cycladitic tradition still exists. Are u ready for this? We will start our visit from the second  main village of  Mykonos, Ano Mera an idyllic place 6 km from town, we will stroll around the traditional square where we can drink a Greek coffee and taste local sweets. We also visit the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani build in the 16th century. You can also buy fruits and vegetables from the local open market. Next stop is Kalafatis beach, a quiet beach with  crystal clear water, water sports, full of trees, and same quite restaurant and cafe. In this unique place with fascinating view you can take some pictures and you can have a drink and enjoy the view under the trees. On our way back to Mykonos town we have our last stop at Ftelia beach a peaceful and tranquil place with sandy beach, receiving the Meltemi, the Cycladic wind coming from north and for that is famous among the windsurfers.The hills  that surround the beach  are mostly bare and the natural landscape give you the feeling of total freedom. In this place will have our meal in a restaurant with home made menu, based on what the land offers. A relaxing meal in a natural environment near the sea is for sure a memorable experience!
